Education

Education Coordinator
  • Research current sex trafficking statistics and trends in the sex industry
  • Compile a roundup of recent news stories and articles to support the Communication Team
  • Analyze online content, reports and research articles to support research proposals
  • Assist with drafting documentation and developing content to support education and research goals related to knowledge mobilization
  • Provide administrative support to research projects and reports to the Education and Research Coordinator

Curriculum Developer
  • Research current educational practices and tools to support curriculum development on sex trafficking for various age groups and demographics
  • Consult with subject matter experts to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate educational materials
  • Design and develop content to support education on a broad spectrum of topics as it relates to prevention, awareness and education
  • ​Report to the Education and Research Coordinator.

Education and Training Facilitator
  • Oversee the training and coaching of education volunteers
  • Conduct interviews, in conjunction with HR, for potential volunteers
  • Schedule and facilitate online training sessions, and provide in-person coaching
  • Work with each volunteer to develop and implement an Education Mobilization Plan
  • Help identify schools, community groups, and organizations in Ontario that could be potential partners to increase awareness on sex trafficking in Canada
  • Work with the Curriculum Developer, to ensure that post-presentation surveys are sent and completed after speaking engagements
  • This position requires flexibility and travel throughout Ontario
